Dhokra art is an ancient method of making stunning metal figurines fashioned from bronze and copper based alloys using ‘lost wax casting’ method. This tribal art form, done by the traditional metal-smiths of central and eastern India, has survived the test of time and is still in use since last 5000 years . There are several processes involved in the making of Dhokra art and hence, a single piece could take up to a month or two to be created.
